Goalden Chylds Fight For Freedom

I'm an artist by the name of Goalden Chyld (GC), a singer, rapper, spoken word artist and activist. As a young man, I live to be a voice for the voiceless oppressed men, women, boys and girls across the world in the form of music. I strive to be different from other artist by my music being a reflection of my work.
I'm an activist, mentor, and solider, mostly known for being a fearless revolutionary who writes to keep the movement alive. Hence, my slogan "The revolution has begun and I write to keep it going".
My passion for the people stretches to bring attention to oppressed women. How many men do you know who's building a platform for the afflicted, while simultaneously uplifting the woman? For me this is an important task because I understand that no nation can rise higher than its woman.
I strive to inspire many as exemplified in a review below from an 8th grader I met and spoke with at Longwood Academy. After engaging with him and several of his classmates, I gave them my project "Stand For Justice or Else". (stand for mixtape)He was moved to message me saying, "Your songs are great, they show great power... It makes me feel like I can do a lot in life. It makes me feels like I'm not worthless in this world". This is the type of encouragement our youth need and there's a great sense of joy I feel every time I'm able to build inspiring connections! I feature on numerous panels tackling topics such as faith, religion, racism, freedom, justice, equality, and many others.
I was recently honored by Colour Me Social as a man of distinction for my work with youth in the community and for the profound positive message in my music. When I take the stage, I connect with the heart of the people.
However, the uncompromising truth eliminates my chances of receiving real support from mainstream sources. I risk my ability to speak freely and courageously when looking to them to help me further this message. The owners of these big corporations are committed to keeping the people oppressed, confused, and unaware, which is why they tirelessly put millions of dollars behind artist who make degrading music that contribute negatively to the struggle.
What helps ensure that an artist like my self remains free and independent is the support from individuals who who believe in me and want to see my artistry as a means of success. I'll fight on the frontline for us and even go as far to give my word, that I'll kill for us.
If you 'Stand For' the cause, see the value in my gift & role, feel my sincerity at heart and want to support my dream of using music to free the minds of the people and ultimately change the world, your donation will assist with my goal of $100,000 leading towards independent distribution such as advertising & promotions, album recording expenses, and touring with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Any and every donation counts and is greatly appreciated!
