Goat Micro Dairy Startup

Hi! My name is Jamie, I’m an entrepreneur/farmer/business owner that is trying hard to get a goat micro dairy started in order to provide yogurt, icecream, and bottled milk to my community. I’m located in Columbia county, New York and there is a huge demand here. I unfortunately am not eligible for a farm loan because I can’t show enough financial strength due to still growing my business. I am a single mother that left an abusive relationship with nothing but the clothes on my back and my children. I had no credit and no support system. In the 8 years since I’ve been on my own I have built my credit, gotten a home and built a hoof trimming business from the ground up to being a completely sustainable business. I know if I can just get the startup for this micro dairy it will do well and I can improve life even more for myself and my children and provide a source of nourishment to my community.I already have the approval for NYS Ag and Markets for my plans. Now I just need to get materials and equipment.
