Shortinfo: Help me raise 1000$ for one of the best animal right organization "Animal Equality" within two weeks and I will go bald and donate the hair to Locks of Love.

About me: I am a (self-)portrait-photographer from Germany who is right now travelling the USA and living in a van for three month. We live a rather basic, but very happy life and I felt the urge to give something back. As I don't have a lot of money to give I have decided to give my hair away instead. Sacrificing in that way, I hope people will be willing to give some dollars to help animals all over the world. 

The cause: Ever since I was a little girl my heart has been beating for animals. Till today I aim to make this world a little better for those who are the most helpless and treated the worst. This is my first try to collect money for an organization. I am choosing Animal Equality because I love the work they do and the way they do it. Also they are very transparent on how they use the money recieved and they are ranked one of the best animal rights organization by different independent committees.

Against fur: I want to make a point with going bald. Better no hair than wearing fur. Also I want to raise awareness for what happens before the fur is a fluffy coat in the store. Fur industry includes some of the most cruel activities happening on this planet for example, animals being skinned alive(!).
But Animal Equality does so much more. Have a look at their page and I am sure you will find topics that are worth your money.

Finally: It would be amazing if you could give a few dollars (or more if you can) or share this fundraiser with your friends to make this happen. Let's do something good together. Thank you to everyone who becomes part of it :)
