Medical Treatment @ Mayo

Hi everyone it is Joshua. Since my car accident in March 2022 , I have had a lot of health struggles. I have been in five different hospitals , two rehabs and three nursing homes. Jameson has lived with my mom the entire time and I moved in following my last surgery to repair my abdomen.

Currently I am driving to Madison once or twice a week for treatment of gastroparesis , a hernia they can’t yet repair and consult on my abdomen wall that needs totally reconstructing. In the last week they have referred me to Mayo Clinic in MN because they say I am such high risk. I really need to get there. I just want to be better for Jameson.

I also go to Chicago twice a month for pain control for my broken back. I drive out and take a the train and Ubers to get to Northwest Memorial Hospital which is becoming harder to do.

I started working again after my accident , really trying hard. I got new insurance and tried to be independent : Right now I can’t work and I tried light duty . I can’t continue treatment with no insurance or money to keep going to my appointments .I also have big co payments. I hate asking for help but I desperately need it. If you can I appreciate it. If you can’t I understand but please keep praying I am on a very long road to recovery.
