God must have needed a roofer

God called my Pops home on 10.3.21.
Perhaps it was the boots, or the sunglasses, maybe it was the Harley Davidson... one look at him and some people were afraid. But the man behind the bandana was a teddy bear (wrapped in tattoos), full of dad jokes, and who could win anyone over with his sense of humor. Most of all he was an amazing friend, uncle, brother, father, and grandfather. Born in Albuquerque, he grew his business as a local General Contractor. Waking up by 5a.m every morning, answering calls from his ad in the paper, and using his paper map, he'd venture off serving the Albuquerque-area for 45+ years.
When he wasn't working, he could be found at Target buying his grandkids more toys than their toyboxes could handle, at Holy Rosary giving praise, or with his children at Starbucks for an afternoon coffee. He rooted for the Lobos every Saturday and his Cowboys every Sunday.
Despite being vaccinated, and wearing his (banana printed) mask, he still acquired Covid19. He fought, hammer in hand for his life for the past month. I would truly appreciate anyone who can donate anything to help lay my best friend to rest.
I love you pops
