My name is Lynda. I am 71 years old. I live in the mountains of California and because of the economy, I still have to work. First there was Covid. Then the Caldor fire. They cut my hours. Fridge broke. Dryer broke. Car accident. I ended up in a dept relief program and also I am deferring my house payment trying to catch up. Now my septic broke. We were trying to repair it ourselves until the county arrived. Now I have to get a septic designer and then a septic contractor. If I can't repair it, they will turn off my water or worse, make my house uninhabitable until I do fix it. Septics cost 12 to 20 thousand so I am told. I don't know what to do. I keep asking God what next? My sister just died. I wish it was me instead of her. I am tired. I am hoping just to fix it. This is embarrassing because I have always been the helper to those in need, not the one who needs help.
