Dear friends and family,

The last couple of months have been a scary time for our family. After many scans and tests our daughter, Caitlyn, has been diagnosed with stage three Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer. To say it was a shock is putting it mildly.

Caitlyn is a 30 year old spitfire redhead. She is funny and always brightens up a room when she steps through the door. She is a talented artist in any medium she chooses and she has a beautiful singing voice. She is responsible, kind, and always ready to pitch in with what's needed. And most of all she is brave and strong. Her father, brother, and I keep saying "I wish I could go through this for her." We are all ready to support her and fight for her no matter what. But it is Caitlyn that supports us and says don't worry, it's going to be alright. She had a hard time with her port install and just got her first chemo treatment. It took three different nurses, all with increasing years of experience, to get the needle in the port. The nurses are apologizing and trying to figure out what's wrong, and Caitlyn is laughing and joking the whole time. So you can see she is ready for this fight. She has all the love and support we can give her.

What she doesn't have is the finances. She has six months of chemo, tests, and treatments. The bills are already stacking up. She has plans to continue working every day she can. Her job is safe but if she can't work she doesn't get paid. It's hard to make ends meet these days, especially with just one income coming into the home.

This is where we need your help. We have been helping her in every way we can, but it's not enough. If you could help with a donation no matter how small....it will help her greatly.

Medical bills such as co-pays and things that won't cover.

Personal items to combat the hurts the chemo will cause her body.

Transportation to her treatments, doctors visits, and scans.

Possibly utilities or her rent if she is unable to work while going through chemo.
