GoFundMe for Courtney Waters

On November 29, 2022, Courtney suffered a stroke at the age of 36. Courtney was taken by medevac to INVOA Fairfax Hospital and went directly into emergency surgery. She is currently in the Neuro ICU working on rehabilitation.

Courtney is a loving wife of 9 years to Kevin and an exceptional mother to Colton (7), Kendall (4) and Carly (2). She is hard working, kind, and an endlessly giving woman. Kevin and the kids will be greatly affected by the sudden changes in life and we are determined to set them up for success. The family will need to adapt to a new lifestyle, living accommodations, and ongoing care for Courtney as recommended by her doctors at INOVA Fairfax. The funds from this GoFundMe will be used to assist in costs of intensive therapy (physical, speech, occupational) to improve her quality of life. In addition, the funds will be used to assist the family in getting their home ready for a comfortable recovery, extra help with the kids/house, and extensive medical bills.

Courtney loves spending time with family at the beach in the Outer Banks and has been devoted to her career at CACI for over 12 years. She’s always loved a good country concert and catching up with her friends. Courtney is proud Radford Alumni and Delta Zeta sister.

We are beyond grateful that Courtney was strong enough to survive the stroke and surgery. Her recovery will take time and the cost will be huge.
