Back in May of this year, my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 Ovarian/Uterine Leiomysarcoma. It is a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. She is on chemotherapy treatment number 7 out of 16 and fighting the battle of her life, both physically and emotionally. She has not been able to work since May. I am currently caring for she and my stepfather, who has dementia, full time. I have my hands full and it is a struggle but I’m doing okay. More than likely, she will not be able to go back to work until the beginning of next year, if ever.

I wanted to start this page to help with things that she will need along the way like bills, home goods, and food. She owns Gail’s Barbershop and has been cutting hair for nearly 45 years. She adores her work and misses her customers dearly. If you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Anything helps and we are so thankful for your continuing support through this journey.
