The Rutherfords' Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Many of you have experienced struggles and suffering in your lives. Often, it is the support of your family, friends, and even strangers that provided you with the path needed for healing, whether that be physical, mental, or spiritual. You can provide that same kind of support that will pave the road to recovery for the Rutherford family.
For years, Adam Rutherford has suffered from Crohn's disease. He has had severe complications, requiring two emergency surgeries this year. He spent the entire month of March in the hospital and has been readmitted since. He is only now able to be home with the help of a feeding tube and the assistance of home healthcare.
Adam's battle with this disease has put financial and emotional strains on him and his family. Despite the many medical expenses, they have remained positive, hopeful, and active in their community.
This is the most beautiful family. They love each other fiercely. Adam is a devoted husband and father. His children are his pride and joy. He supports them in all of their activities. Adam lights up a room with his smile and a stage with his voice. Angie has a heart of gold and a magnetic personality. She has a way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and special. She and Adam have loved each other "in sickness and in health." Adam said of Angie recently, "I literally couldn't live without her." Their son, Austin, will graduate this year from high school and will attend college this fall. Their daughter, Ayla, is finishing her seventh grade year of school. Both children are extremely talented and participate in many activities.
The small community of Felicity, Ohio, has embraced the Rutherfords. They've offered help in many ways, including a fundraiser held this Saturday, May 19. However, many of their family and friends are in other states and want to help. We figured this would be one method to do so. Whether you support the Rutherfords prayerfully or financially, thank you! They need it. They'll appreciate it. They deserve it. God bless!
