Emergency Food Boxes for Food Insecure Families

Nobody saw this coming… and now, with unemployment jumping to record levels, and social service agencies being taxed to their limits, the need to find solutions, for a substantial increase in families with “Food Insecurity” has never been greater. 

Eugene Southtowne Rotary, in conjunction with our partnership though Head Start, is providing emergency food boxes for families finding themselves with little or no other sources of emergency food for their families, here in Eugene, Oregon.

What was once a twice-monthly program, has now been expanded to meet immediate needs for the foreseeable future, and needs your support.  We know that many are feeling helpless to help in this crisis, your donation does just that, by providing emergency food, for families in need.

Every dollar makes a difference. But an average food box, even with support from our partners at Food For Lane County and the Eugene Mission costs an average of $15 per box.
