Medical expenses: Calla's dog Xena (gunshot wound)
Donation protected
Yesterday April 7th something unspeakable happened...
Calla, her mom Lea and her dog Xena were placed at gun point and car jacked. They were taking Xena to the groomers when they saw a man drive into a ditch, being the good samaritans that they are, they went to make sure the man was okay. When the man got out of the car the man proceeded to pull out an AR-15 to attack them with. Xena, the brave warrior she is, attacked the man to protect her loved ones. She was shot first. The man then shot at Calla and Lea. the bullet went through Callas leg muscle and into Lea's bone in her leg, causing Lea's leg to break on impact. The man then put them at gun point demanding the keys and left in Calla's car. All three of them had to receive medical attention including Xena, Calla's Dutch Shepherd. She is now at home in pain but alive and with her loved ones. All medical bills for Calla and Lea are paid for, but Xena's bill ended up totaling to about $1000. This money will go to Xena's bills and other expenses caused by this horrible event.
