Fund Drugs at Work: Legend - Episode 2
Don protégé
Hello,
It’s Sam and Doug here!
We hope with every handsy tentacle of our collective creative entity that you enjoyed the first episode of Drugs at work: Legend.
As any of our loyal subscribers who braved the great content drought of the late twenty-tens will tell you, the show has taken us bloody ages to make. Years and years and years.
This is partly due to the fact that we are the people our characters are based on, but mainly because we’ve had to pull in loads of favours and ask a lot of our friends in the crew to give up their time and, essentially, work for free.
All the filming, photography, lighting, sound - was all professionally done out of the kindness of their hearts and belief in the project, and we love them for it dearly.
That said, after a month of Sundays lost to the blinding glare of Sam’s gut, we feel it’s only fair they get paid for their skills for the next episode.
Just to be clear, we (Sam, Doug & the Turner Brothers) don’t want any money for writing, acting, directing or editing - but we feel the rest of the crew should be paid for the creative sweat on their creative brows.
We are asking for £5,000 to pay the crew for - and turbocharge the creation of - the next full-length episode of Drugs at work: Legend. This won't cover the true cost of production, but it will let us pay the guys something for their time.
To show our appreciation, anyone who contributes will be listed as an 'Executive producer' in the credits of the next episode.
If you want to give us any amount of money - even a penny would be ab-soluutteeely lovely…. - then that would be great, if not, that’s great, too.
Thanks for watching!
