“Keeping on” for Kevin Cooper.
On August 6th, a family that is very dear to me lost a true provider and a “simple”man. ( simple man, a song played at his service)
Kevin was man that loved everyone that he met, he treated literally everyone equal . He saw no barriers such as race or religion. Everyone he met was a friend. Instantly a Forever FRIEND.
His wife, of 24 years, Susan, walked in and found him. A scene no one wants to see or have to remember. His phone was within reach but god had other plans for him when his heart failed. Kevin had not felt well for several days but he KEPT ON, KEEPING ON, to make sure he provided for his family, esp one of the brightest lights in his life, his sweet granddaughter Hadley. Kevin is survived by His Best Friend, which was his wife Susan. His loving Daughter MaKayla
(mother to Hadley) and 2 sons.
Todd his eldest, is serving the United States Air Force and is currently stationed in Alabama. Kevin was so proud of that. The youngest son is Lane, which is currently in college and trying so hard to make a life for himself. Graduating college is a dream his dad wanted to see him reach. Lane has recently had some severe medical issues that they haven’t been able to diagnose or treat yet. Kevin was their Only source of Health Insurance. Without him here not only are they having to suffer this Tragedy, they are having to pay for Cobra Ins, it’s $2497 a month. That’s Impossible for them at this time. They have no other choice but to keep it with lanes medical issues.
So many have asked what can they do to help, or that they want to reach out with food.
Well here is how you can help, here is how you can help Kevin “keep on keeping on”.
Every single $1 will make a difference, it all adds up.
Susan is one of those friends that it wouldn’t matter the time of the day or night, if you called she would be there. Now it’s time for us to be there. Please Help me be there for her now.
Give as your heart desires.
Thank you so much in advance. ❤️
"And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me, son, if you can"
