Kenora Rotary Peace Park
Donation protected
The Rotary Club of Kenora, in partnership with the City of Kenora, will develop a Rotary Peace Park on 1st Avenue South in Kenora.
The park will include a beautiful peace pole and a memorial monument to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, Trans, and 2 Spirit (MMIWGT2S), provided by the MMIWGT2S Memorial Committee.
The park will include benches, walkways, and a view of the beautiful Lake of the Woods. It will be a peaceful place for people to rest and reflect.
The goal is to have the park completed and ready for opening on October 4, 2021. Your support is needed to make this dream a reality.
Funds will be used to purchase the peace pole, benches, and to landscape the park.
All donations of $50 or more may receive a tax receipt from the City of Kenora.
