Spanky's and Lindsey's emergency fund

Lindsey and Michael are so appreciative of all the love and support they've received over the last few days.  Michael continues to show small but meaningful signs of recovery each day.  As many of you know, these kinds of accidents can throw people's lives upside down.  Lindsey is a self-employed psychologist who has cancelled her work for at least the next few month.   She is faced with figuring out and paying Michael's bills, along with her own.  She has begun to accrue unforeseen expenses each day, and has no immediate regular source of income.  Lindsey was hesitant to ask this this kind of support, but I encouraged her, knowing that many of you have been asking what you could do for Michael and her during this trying time.  A medical emergency should never be the cause of financial anxiety, and certainly how to pay this month's bills should not be on Lindsey's mind right now.  Thank you all in advance!

Update:  As many of you know, Michael has made significant progress since December 2, but he still has a long way to go.  Unfortunately, Lindsey is unable to return to work full time this month, as she had expected.    Michael's medical needs are being met, but his emotional needs are focused on Lindsey, so she is spending much of her time at the hospital.   Thanking you all for everything everyone has done.  He's getting there!!
