Emergency Winter Aid

This #GivingTuesday share your warmth with someone in need.
As winter is fast approaching, we pledge to you to share your warmth with those who do not have the financial means to keep their houses, families and most importantly their children warm. 1 in every four (25%) infant dies before their 5th birthday due to poverty and winter conditions. That is WAY too high. As the cold days are beginning to get close, the poverty-stricken families fear increase. They will not only have to worry about feeding their families but also keeping them warm and saving the lives of their infant children. However, through this campaign, we are aiming to reduce the infant death caused due to winter condition by providing essential winter aid such as winter apparels, winter shoes, hats and mittens, firewood and other basic needs based on each family’s needs. This winter we want to give 30 families the warmth, the compassion they deserve and the stability to survive the extreme cold weather.
Each family will be assessed separately and winter aids will be purchased based on their needs. With as little as $100.00, we will be able to keep a family safe and warm this winter and save the lives of their children.
Giving the gift of warmth is the least we can do to save lives and keep them warm this winter.
