Those of you that know Avis know that to be friends with her is to be known and loved by her. She is a beautiful, strong, talented, woman who comes from a long line of beautiful, strong, resilient women. That is where this fundraiser comes in. Her Gogo suffered a stroke in March and to be able to receive the long term care she needs, she needs financial assistance. Avis’s mom will also become her main caretaker and not be able to work. This is where we come in. We have all been blessed by Avis, Gwen and Gogo over the years and this is a way to show tangible love to her family in a time of need. Anything counts.
