Gohanna Family Funeral and Burial arrangements

Hi, my name is J. Arismendy and This is not about me. This is about a very Special Person, a son, a husband, a Father, a friend and to many, including me a Support System.

His Name Vern Gohanna, his is my brother in law, his unspoken mission, “Do Good No Matter Who”

He was a man of few words but great deeds a living testament of what one person can do to positively impact someone’s life. As a professor of accounting at Oakwood University every single student was his mission, I’m not just saying this I mean it. I remember when he bought used apple computers for the incoming foreign students to the University and in many occasions I would ask his Wife Karina about random packages and articles of clothing around their house and she would tell me, that’s Vern’s is for the student at the university. I remember on several occasion asking him for a favor, he would do it on a timely fashion and perfect, later I would find out that because of lack of time he had paid some one to do it, and he never told me about, or the time when he allow me to store some of my things at his “life Storage” unit. 4 months went by before I found out, that the only reason the unit was still open was to keep my stuff because he moved his things to another unit so there could be space for mine and by the way, he was paying for it.

this is the kind of person he was.

Now he has passed away very unexpectedly, having touched many with his servant Heart, I am raising funds so we can give him a proper funeral and burial, to show his beloved wife the kind of support he offered to many of us.
