Going home for Arlene Ruff Burgess

An unforeseen event took my sister, Arlene Ruff. On the morning of June 30, 2021, my sister began to throw up and have chest pain. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was placed on life support. We were informed that she suffered from a heart attack. The doctor on call stated that they tried to revive her for over 45 minutes, but was unsuccessful. Sadly, she passed away that morning. Arlene leaves behind a young daughter, a son, and a whole in the heart of those that knew her. She was a mother to many, and a friend to countless others. This hasn't only been hard for her family and friends, but also the aftermath. She had shared several times jokingly, that she wanted to be cremated. We are putting together this account in an effort to fulfill Arlene's request for cremation and funeral service. Please pitch in whatever you can. If my sister was alive and "you needed it", even if she only had a little bit, she was giving what she had. That's the type of person she was, and that's the legacy she leaves behind. She was a peacekeeper and a giver!
