THE SENSELESS DEATH OF MY MOTHER AND YOUNGEST BROTHER

Loraine White was a loving married mother of 5 children. She worked very hard to finally move to Florida to retire and get away from the rigid climates of New Jersey. She finally accomplished her goal in March of 2022. She had ambition to start a farm with her husband Alex and sister Griselda. They planned to get back to nature by purchasing livestock and growing fruits and vegetables. Her youngest son, Wesley White, had evolved into a jack of all trades and was very eager to come down and assist in building up the farm. He set out on August 27, 2022 from New Jersey to Florida and planned to stay for one week. At the end of his stay, Loraine decided she would catch a ride up North since her granddaughter, Liliana, was going to have a quinceañera. Loraine was very excited to reunite with her family up North and set out on the journey with her son, Wesley, going from Florida back to New Jersey. They never made it past North Carolina.

At midnight they collided with a 20-foot steel flatbed. The driver was very negligent. Not only did he neglect to hitch the flatbed properly, the flat bed also did not have any lights. The driver pulling the flatbed initially collided with a different vehicle causing the 20-foot flatbed to come loose. A short moment later Loraine and Wesley traveling down I-95 did not see the flatbed, due to dark conditions and the flatbed not having lights, resulting in the accident. The collision was at full speed and Wesley died instantly. Loraine suffered severe head trauma and was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

As if this was not enough, Wesley was also traveling with his family. His wife, Tiffany, who was eight months pregnant, and their two sons. Although through some miracle, our nephew's ages 12 and 2 years old boys survived with minor injuries. His wife was rushed to the emergency room and placed in ICU with a 5% chance of survival. The 8-month old baby was C-sectioned out and airlifted to Duke University, where baby Zoey died the following day.

How can one accident cause so much tragedy? This has changed our lives forever. The accident occurred September 4th, 2022 at 12 am. September 7th Wesley and Tiffany were scheduled to celebrate their three-year wedding anniversary. Please help us raise money to give Loraine and Wesley the proper double burial they deserve.

Gone too Soon.

Please keep the family lifted in prayer during this difficult time.
