Going to Poland to help Ukrainian Refugees
Donation protected
I was born in Lviv, Ukraine in 1978. In 1987 my family left the USSR as refugees. I spent the last three decades living in the USA and I'm grateful to be an American citizen. I felt it in my DNA that I must return to Eastern Europe and help out Ukraine right now. Thanks to the massive support from my friends, old coworkers, and people that my friends told about my cause, I’m here on the Polish/Ukrainian border working as a volunteer. My volunteer job includes helping refugees with travel logistics and working at my NGO’s aid distribution warehouse. Please check out my blog goingwaybackeast.org for updates and details about my actions here on the ground. Thank you to everyone for your generosity and compassion! Slava Ukraini
