Gold Heart Girl (Heart Transplant)

Hello all. My name is Joshua Gomez and I am reaching out to tell the story of a Little Girl With a Heart of Gold! That little girl is my niece, Alanna Ryann Lucero. She is a brave, courageous, beautiful, and nurturing 5 year old angel with a true Heart of Gold. Unfortunately, that same heart that she loves so much with, is failing her, and she is going to need a new one. At birth her parents, Marco and Bella Lucero were informed that she was born with a small hole in her heart. Since then it has been monitored continuously and Alanna had been doing extremely well given the circumstances. This was up until recently, as she started to show more signs of a troubled heart over the last year! Alanna just went through a visit at Children's Hospital in Aurora Colorado where she is given outstanding care from some amazing doctors. It is there, where Marco and Bella were given the horrendous news that their 5 year old daughter would need to be put on the list for a heart transplant. Marco, Bella and the kids will have to relocate to Denver Colorado where they can be within 1-2 hours of the hospital to be eligible for the transplant. As if the emotional and the physical toll this will take on the family isn't enough, the financial burden this creates is absolutely unattainable. I am asking simply for my amazing family, friends, and even strangers to come together and help this amazing family in need! Help, any way you can! $1 will go along ways when we come together, but more importantly if you cant help financially you can help by sharing the story and spreading the word. To us that is just as powerful! You may know somebody that can help. If you are in a place to give, please consider it! if not, please just share this story so it can be seen by many and hopefully, one day soon, our dear Alanna Bear will be able to get her a new Heart of Gold.
