Gold Star Father Patrick Miller Final Expenses

SEPTEMBER 26, 1956 – MAY 25, 2019

Patrick Miller, also lovingly known as Clark, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 62. He was born in Laredo, Texas on September 26, 1956 to his mother Edna E. Miller. Patrick was a high school graduate of Thomas Edison High School, Class of 1973, and he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in History from UTSA in 1995.

After the passing of his young son, Scotty, during his service in the Army overseas, Patrick became San Antonio’s and the countries first Gold Star Dad of The Iraq War. His experience encouraged him to become a pillar of support for other parents and families through their grief who have also lost their service sons and daughters. He was selfless, full of humor, and he was deeply loved, forever and always, by all who knew him.
