Small Business, big undertaking

Hi! My name is Falon Foss (Boole) and I am starting a full service fine jewelry repair, retail and custom design shop here in Tacoma, WA. I have successfully completed a business cohort through Spaceworks Tacoma as of May, 2019 and I am now ready to get going on building my new business: Gold Dust, LLC. ✨I worked at a family owned and run jeweler since 2011 called, Cascade Custom Jewelers (CCJ). There I learned from the ground up, from the master jeweler and owner. She closed the business in December, 2018. Designing one of a kind pieces that truly mean something or bringing back to life a piece that tells such a story, this is why I do what I do. I never knew this would be a passion of mine, but I have always thrived on the connections I make and this job helped me to do just that. I went to school and am certified in diamond grading, colored stone grading and learned casting and custom jewelry among some basic business skills from Teri at CCJ. I wanted to learn what I could and engage with the Tacoma community so I applied for creative entrepreneur program called, Spaceworks! I just finished the business cohort in May and feel prepared now with knowledge and support of my fellow Spaceworks alum and the chamber as well as the rad artists and makers I worked alongside. I’m ready. Can you help???
I’m asking for help to lease a brick & mortar for 3 months, pay for some small equipment and purchase packaging and a small amount of inventory for the shop. If you cannot give financially, that’s totally understandable!
