Golden Eagle Lodge Ski Trail Grooming

On January 8th, 2023, Golden Eagle Lodge’s PB100 hit a patch of bad ice on Flour Lake and sunk. Thankfully Ruth was able to escape unharmed. Damages to the Pisten Bully and it’s recovery are very expensive. As many know, Golden Eagle Lodge has always groomed their ski trails to the highest standard and that will not stop. In order to maintain high quality trails and the safety of the staff using the equipment, Golden Eagle Lodge has decided that grooming across the lakes will no longer be done with the Pisten Bully. 

Generations of families have enjoyed the beautiful trails and excellent grooming on the Central Gunflint Ski Trails. Ruth and Zach are like family to those who enjoy Golden Eagle Lodge. 

As a frequent guest at Golden Eagle, I want to raise money for a new Tidd Tech Snowmobile Groomer, which will help groom the lakes. Please help me support Zach, Ruth and Golden Eagle Lodge.
