Golden soccer opportunity to UK

Hi everyone!

My name is Kaylen, I am a 15 year old Western Australian lad who lives, breathes and plays soccer, or as the other side of the world refers to it, football!! I am thrilled to have received an invite to the UK to train with the Westham United Foundation for soccer. How exciting for a Karratha boy like me to be given an opportunity like this. Afterall, I’m just a crazy soccer fanatic that bounces and kicks a soccer ball 24/7. 

I live in the northwest of regional Western Australia and I need to pull together $$ to make this happen. Unfortunately, regional sporting teams can apply and receive grants and funding to support their seasons, however individuals like myself are not eligible to do the same, which is why I am on here.

I compete with team soccer competitions throughout both summer and winter, compete in regional and state events year-round, and represent my Karratha Soccer club in my own age group as well as the later teens/adult teams. Yes, some say I may have some actual skills! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

My future dream is to represent Australia in this competitive, fun, fast paced sport. I would like nothing better than to make my family, friends and country extremely proud, showing that dedication and persistence is rewarded. I want to improve my skills with the best in the game, with those who are willing to share and educate younger players through their own skills, knowledge and experiences.

I am hoping that if you are reading my story, you are also a soccer fanatic, and a realist who recognises opportunities like this dont just magically appear.I want to acknowledge the amazing coaches, talented players and supportive parents in our wonderful Karratha soccer community, and I will continue to do the hard work needed to make Pilbara proud. I will do  everything I can to get myself to the UK, playing the sport I love with my idols!!
