Golden State STEM Funds for Projects

Golden State STEM was founded in January 2022, with our organization continuing to spread its roots! Two students currently sophomores in Irvington High School and American High School, came together with a vision of spreading our passion and knowledge to other individuals all over the Bay, especially those from under-resourced schools. We aim to be an organization that offers free hands-on robotics education for elementary/middle schoolers. Our sessions would focus on VEX Robotics and all aspects such as programming, building, and graphic design skills.

We have already hosted one extremely successful event, VEX Day at the Milpitas Library, where around 30 incredibly amazing students showed up to our event and increased their knowledge and interest in robotics.

For us to continue hosting these programs that involve more hands-on, advanced material for students, we need to buy another VEX Robotics Kit which cost roughly $400-500, which is why we are starting a GoFundMe. We would greatly appreciate any contribution to our efforts and reach more students interested in STEM! Of course, this is completely optional and not required to participate in ant of our events, so please do not feel pressured to do so.
