Danny's medical expenses

Family, friends, acquaintances and business partners, many of you may not be aware that Danny has been battling advanced liver disease for nearly a year and a half. He finally made it onto the transplant list in April. Unfortunately, one has to get sicker in order to get better as livers are transplanted on an as-needed basis.
His illness requires many appointments in Phoenix to see specialists and he has been hospitalized numerous times over the past couple of months.

He has been air evac'd to Phoenix twice because his complex health issues are more than Havasu Regional can handle. His score for receiving a transplant is very high and we are hoping it will come soon. The coordinators have recommended we stay nearby and we are on 24 hour call. We have rented a small condo here while waiting and we will also need to stay here post surgery for nearly a month until he is stable.

Spending so much time away has resulted in our business suffering. We are fortunate to have a long term employee who has been doing a phenomenal job keeping things rolling but it just is not the same as being there. Travel, hotel stays, and mounting medical bills have taken an emotional and financial toll on us.

We have a wonderful circle of supportive friends and family for which are are so grateful. We couldn't have made it this far without everyone's good thoughts, prayers and assistance. Despite the horrible symptoms this disease has caused Danny to endure he remains in good spirits with a positive attitude.

Asking for help is never easy and receiving it is even harder. Please keep us in your thoughts through this most difficult time.
