Help Golty Return Home to the Seychelles: A Final Journey
Hello everyone,
My name is Golty Farabeau and for 44 years, I've had the privilege of sharing my love for reggae music with the world, from the vibrant streets of the UK to the sunny shores of the Seychelles. Music has been my life, my passion, and my way of connecting with people from all walks of life.
But now, life has taken an unexpected turn. I've been diagnosed with terminal progressive kidney cancer. Despite the many challenges I’ve faced throughout my life, nothing could prepare me for this battle. As the disease progresses, my strength is fading, and I realize that my time is running short.
More than anything, I want the place in which I recover to be I’ve always called home— the Seychelles. Being surrounded by the love of my family and the familiar sounds of the ocean would mean the world to me. However, the costs associated with such a journey, along with the medical expenses and the need for specialized care, are beyond what I can manage alone.
I’m reaching out to you, my friends, fans, and kind-hearted strangers, to help make this final journey possible. Your donations will go directly towards:
- Travel expenses for myself and a caregiver to return to the Seychelles.
- Medical care and support needed during the journey and upon arrival.
- Ensuring that I can spend my last days in peace, comfort, and surrounded by love.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to home. I deeply appreciate your support and kindness during this challenging time.
Thank you for being a part of my journey, and for helping me find peace in the place where my heart truly belongs.
With gratitude,
Golty Farabeau
