Goma Refugee Crisis

Hi, this is PD Lawton and Samuel and Chioma Phillips. We are asking for your help so that we can avert the most appauling humanitarian crisis in the Eastern Congo. Over 1 million Congolese refugees are existing in IDP camps in Goma, North Kivu. Their lives and especially the lives of the women, children and unaccompanied children of which there are many, are threatened by malnutrition, sexual violence, lack of basic amenities and an abiding sense of hopelessness.

With your love, we will provide blankets and clothing. We will provide soap, buckets, sanitary kits for the women. We will give help with school fees for the children, footballs and toys for the very young. We will provide one square meal per day for all the children.

The people in these camps are there because they have fled the horrific violence in the areas where they farmed. These people are the poorest of the poor. They have nothing but worst of all they feel complete dispair.

Please help them, don`t let them be the world`s forgotten human beings.
