Gontarz Greenhouse/Outdoor Space

Gerry Gontarz, a dedicated and passoniate teacher of science at Plymouth Elementary School for 35 years, passed away in October 2014.  This leaves a void in our community and in our PES family.  We would like to honor him by building a more permanent greenhouse structure and outdoor teaching space.  He was the epitome of hands-on science and outdoor education. This project will serve to heal our family and stand tall and strong as he did at PES.  The PES students will forever benefit from Mr. G's creative teaching by continuing to use this space for best science practices. This is going to take a community of people and funds to accomplish this task. We love you and miss you Mr. G....live on in our science hands ands hearts forever!!!
