Disregard the big paragraph here’s take two
Last night at work I responded to a call that I still couldn’t shake long after I’d gone home. Anytime a child or a dog is victimized it is often something you just can’t turn off thinking about. At the request of my agency I will have to be very broad and cannot comment on the ongoing criminal investigation. Last night myself and other officers responded to a call where a person and a dog had been stabbed and lacerated stemming from a potential domestic dispute. The dog, Gunner, suffered deep lacerations and stab wounds and was bleeding heavily. While attending the scene, this dog even in great pain and surely scared after what he’d been through- wagged his tail and tried to make friends. We do not deserve dogs. He was evacuated to an emergency vet, stabilized and is recovering. His bill however for this life saving treatment is substantial. The human victim was also treated on scene and transported to a hospital for further treatment. The good folks at the Hendricks county animal shelter saw to it he got the best care possible, and now could use our help. My martial arts school Pollaro’s Martial Arts at 2481 E Main St, Plainfield IN will be hosting a benefit roll to support this dog. At 1100 on 10/26 any donation amount gets you in, all affiliates welcome. If you don’t train martial arts but would still like to contribute, it would be appreciated. “The only thing that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing”
