Good Golly Let’s Get a Scooter for Molly!

Hello, Cassie here! Many of you know that Molly has been a wheelchair user for most of her life. This has provided her with the most mobility possible. However, she still faces challenges with mobility every day, particularly in outdoor settings. After encouragement from a wonderful group of friends, I’ve decided it’s time to ask for some help. And after lot of research, we found a medical supply company that will build a custom-fit electric scooter attachment that will fit directly on her wheelchair. This will allow her to go on more rugged terrain (gravel, grassy areas, mulch, etc) with A LOT more ease than before. This attachment will allow her to be more independent as well, which is very important to her. However, the cost for this attachment is very hefty and is not something insurance will cover. So if you are able to help in any way, please know how incredibly grateful we would be for your support.
