Hi, My name is John Dehn, husband to one and father of 4 with 14 grandchildren.

Currently, I have a rare Waldenstrom Macroglobulinemia Immune system cancer. I've been fighting Lymphoma [blood] and WM [Immune system] since 2008. In 2014, both had matured to complete stage 4s. Given approximately two weeks to live, [ U of M ] Drs talked me into chemo treatments to hopefully give me another 2-4 weeks to say my good buys and get a will done. I ended up making it through 6 months of chemo treatments with Drs confused and not happy with me cause the Lymphoma completely disappeared [not supposed to happen]. The WM came down to just above normal ranges, which baffled all of us. God was working here due to all the "hundreds" of prayers working on my behalf. Now 2022 WM numbers are off the chart again [normal IGM ranges; 35-245, now just over 5,000 ], with Mayo clinic Drs saying no treatments available [never was] to help. In my desperation for HOPE and after many years of continued prayers, Debbie, my fantastic wife of 4 1/2 years and I have found "New Hope Unlimited" in Yuma, Az. After researching it and with many personal testimonies, I/know this is my last line of hope to work with in the physical realm.

I have qualified for their unique blood transfusion and bone marrow treatments using my blood and bone marrow, the safest way to clean bacteria, parasites [etc.] in the blood and put healthy proteins back in. But unfortunately, I'm still at high risk for strokes and heart attacks because the blood is too thick with too many abnormal white blood cells and not enough good oxygen cells left.

I discovered God was real almost 30 yrs ago; along this incredible journey, God has brought me through an amazing journey of forgiveness from childhood, from a bad family and work relationships. But the biggest one was teaching me how to look into the mirror and learning how to forgive myself. God has been using me everywhere in and out of the states. 29 1/2 years of helping people get back onto their feet from mostly failed relationships, many drug and alcohol addicted people, through the church ministries, and eleven years of men and children's counseling programs. I've helped many people out of my garage [30 plus years] by helping fixing, straightening[ deer hits !!!] and repairing people's cars, sometimes buying their parts and free labor. We had a group of men for seven years to help improve people's homes who couldn't afford to so they could still live there and keep their children altogether. I also got involved in theater ministries for seven years[ what a personal stretch that was]. My daughter KayCee and I went to Latvia and helped dig 15 acres of fence posts for cows and 5 acres of sheep [ in clay ] at a retreat center for orphaned children. Many, many testimonies of helping so many find God. I know heaven is a far better place than here, but 8 yrs ago, in a very thankful open deep hearted prayer. I was asking my Lord to take me home quickly. He spoke up inside of me and said this; You Have Not Because You Ask Not; I immediately knew I had a right to ask to stay, and here I am still being used to touch the hurting hearts of others, truly precious. I enjoy helping others find hope through learning how to trust in our Lord Jesus. [ forgiveness is the hidden key ] So here I am, trusting in my Lord God again and asking for your help.

So here is where we are to date. I lost my employment two years ago due to severe lower back injuries that slowly worsened throughout my life. Needing a very dangerous spinal surgery that even the Mayo Clinic refused to do, we found one of the best spinal surgeons willing to do surgery after I had to sign waivers for him and the hospital. I praise God I'm still walking with most of my sciatic pain gone and with some of my flexibility regained.

My passion for old cars started when I was 15, and I've enjoyed 48 years now of working on and driving these old classic cars. We've sold a few cars to get to where we are right now, and I have a few left for sale and many spare parts, but this treatment begins August 1st, and they require a large downpayment of $35,000. We don't know how much more we will be dealing with, including 4-5 months of aftercare and many more blood tests, etc., after we get back. Our current financial situation is just borderline with me being on SSD, and my wife is working two part-time jobs after losing her full-time job of 23yrs with the hospital due to covid mandates. We are just getting by after paying off all my old medical bills. We know God provides and seems always to make a way, this I know, so prayers are greatly welcomed, and any donations are greatly appreciated. All funds will be used to pay for all our medical bills for the next six months. I believe those who give of both needs will be incredibly blessed as well; I have personally experienced this and have so many others. Give, and it shall be given back; I love seeing and hearing how the double edge sword works for all who call upon our Lord and how He allows everyone to take the step of faith giving and watch it produce more in your own life when needs appear.
