Good People— Fire Took Everything

Hello everyone. Most of you know me but I’ll introduce myself, my name is Meghan Kafka. I have started this account to help my good family friends Karen and Craig Christians. Their daughter Courtney and I go way back to preschool and I am completely heartbroken for them.

On Thursday March 23rd around 1pm their dryer went up into flames. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a small fire. It caught on too quickly and destroyed everything. They have lived in this house my whole life. Everything from memories to important medical equipment was in there.

Thankfully, Karen and their dog Toby got out safely. This is a good family filled with good people and I am urging everyone to help in anyway possible whether it be money or some sort of services. Let’s show them that we are a community that cares.
