Good Samaritans in need after a brutal attack!

Hi, my name is Austa. I’ve been friends with this wonderful family for many years now! They’ve helped others in their time of need and now it’s their turn.

Clifton and his 15-year old son were attacked and stabbed while trying to deescalate a domestic violence situation. Clifton was then attacked by four men and his son stepped in trying to save his dad’s life. They were rushed to the nearest trauma center with life-threatening injuries. The 15-year-old was stabbed, resulting in a collapsed lung. After two ambulance rides, he received a chest tube and was hospitalized for five days. Clifton received three units of blood and platelets during emergency surgery to repair and remove part of his small intestine. He then spent seven days in the hospital.

Clifton’s wife, Erin, was unable to see him from the moment he was wheeled into emergency surgery until after their son was discharged from the hospital five days later!

They have a long road ahead of them.

Any donations will be used to offset ongoing medical expenses while the family heals from this traumatic event. Excess donations will be given to a victim advocacy group.
