Gooderham St. 3 Firefighters - New Rescue Vehicle
Donation protected
Greetings from the Firefighters of Station 3 in Gooderham, Ontario, Canada. We are a small town whose population fluctuates between 700 and 2,000 people, seasonally. We are dedicated to serving our Community with firefighting, medical assistance, and search and rescue efforts for those in need. Each year, Station 3 receives numerous emergency calls for assistance to the public in remote rescue situations. A large part of our area can only be accessed by an off-road vehicle. Our current Rescue vehicle is an old ATV (four-wheeler) that is not adequate for the terrain we have to endure. Our Fire Hall, run entirely by local Volunteers, is currently working hard to raise the funds for a new Rescue Side by Side.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to purchase a new Rescue Side by Side, Rescue Stokes Basket, Winch and Emergency Lighting for the Side by Side. Any help you can send us is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for reading our story.
Respectfully,
Gooderham, Station 3 Volunteer Firefighters
