This is my friend Jennifer Mazzanti. She is one of the most loyal , honest, good hearted friends I have ever had. She has been there for me through breakups, breakdowns, and even a few breakbeats. If you are fortunate enough to call her your friend too, then you know just how true this is. Several years ago we had a band together(Saints of Trenton) and would play music at several different venues in the NELA area including a few benefits/fund raisers. Recently Jennifer has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She is extremely independent and not one to ask for help. But when she told me about her diagnosis, I knew I had to do something to help. But I knew that medically, I was completely useless to help with anything♂️. So....., after getting her blessing, I decided to use the gifts/talents/tools that I have. Having said all of that..., I, along with SEVERAL other local musicians and people from our community, have put together an event to raise money to help with bills while she is battling this nasty disease. On Saturday March 28 from 5-11. So there have been some MAJOR changes for our Fundraiser for Jennifer!!!
First off I would like to thank our friend William E. Cook!!! When we first began putting this together, I called him and he immediately offered for use to use the brewery to host this event!!! He’s a good man. Not much to look at, but he has a huge heart . I would also like to thank Debi Mayo and Jamey Hill for volunteering to cook her world famous Jambalaya and his top secret red beans and rice. However with the change in venue we are not able to serve outside food there. But they have a fabulous menu which I personally went and tried out last night ( for the cause ).
Having said that, for reasons beyond our control, we are moving this event to The BackYard Street Food and Pub on Mane Street in WM. (Location & directions in event link below).
The musical line up has not changed and is expected to grow .
Also there will be:
Axe throwing
Pool tables
Cornhole
Air Hockey
Putt Putt Golf ⛳️
And jump house for the kids
We will be asking a $5 cover/love offering at the door and 100 percent of the proceeds from the putt putt golf ⛳️ will go directly to Jennifer.
. More info will be posted soon with the line up of musicians and bands performing. Please make plans now to come out and help be a part of the #goodvibetribe ✌
