Startup Funding

Goodwater Montessori Public Charter School received its charter award from the State of Texas in July. We are thrilled for the opportunity to serve Williamson County by bringing the opportunity of a Montessori education to ALL families! We will be the first and only public Montessori school in Williamson County.

Since the state does not provide funds to new charter schools until the school doors open and enrollment is determined, we MUST raise money now to prepare the school for the children.

We are undertaking a fundraising drive to support the startup efforts of the school! We are working on facility development, recruiting staff, purchasing Montessori materials, and so much more.

Goodwater Montessori is one of only two schools out of 26 applicants this year to receive a charter. We could not have done it without your help! Grassroots support and a strong financial start were both important to our application’s success. Let's keep it going!

Our Gofundme has three wishlist categories reflecting our current priorities and needs - funds for the library, funds for the developent of our facility, and general startup funds.
