Goomba is a fine dapper gentleman who many of you have had the privilege of meeting, and to those of you who haven't met this giant potato... just look at that dumb face.

Recently Goombas back legs began to lose strength, he is still the affectionate, happy boy he always is, but Luanna knew something was wrong. After many frustrating weeks of appointments, specialists, tests, and tears, an MRI determined that he is living with a tumor on his spine... needless to say Luanna was crushed by this finding, but she remains optimistic. Next up is an appointment to explore options for treating the tumor, and the hope is that he is a candidate for radiation treatments.


Now this is where you come in... The gofundme is called 'Goomba Needs Our Help' and that is the ultimate reason we are here... but Luanna also really needs our help. If you know Lu, she would never ask for ANYTHING... she is one of the kindest, most hard working people I have ever know , and Goomba is her son, and she will do anything to help him, including spending all of her savings... my hope is that we can alleviate some of that inevitable financial burden that she will spend without a second thought.

Currently she has spent several thousand dollars on the MRI and treatment, as Goomba is now under her constant supervision, and being treated with steroids and TLC.  Shes going to be spending several thousand more dollars in the process of finding out just what her options are. 

Asking for money feels awful, but I know that anyone who knows Lu or Goomba would want to help in any way that they can. She has earned that love, and I hope we can show it with a small financial gift to this amazing human and this amazing pupper. He is still that same happy dog, there is so much hope, but we need some help.
