Gooseberry falls medical bills for Silver family

I am setting this up for my amazing friend Malerie and her family. Let me start by saying a complete miracle happened on Saturday and I think a miracle is an understatement!! Both Hunter and Caydence are at home!!! By the grace of God they are both alive, walking and talking. I want to say thank you to everyone who sent out prayers Saturday as my friend desperately cried out for help. Even people who didn't personally know the family reached out. I know they always say "it takes a village" but this weekend it was proven. We are forever thankful for our village.
This summer the family decided they were going to make it a goal to take fun family trips with the kids to all the state parks in Minnesota. Until this weekend I've enjoyed hearing about and watching the fun adventures they have been on. The beach trips, trails and obviously many ice cream stops.
Saturday started off as a normal family adventure for the five of them as they arrived at Gooseberry falls but unfortunately it suddenly turned into a parents worst nightmare.
Hunter (6) and Caydence (5) were enjoying a typical walk on a trail when suddenly Hunter fell. Caydence always has a way of looking after her brother and quickly tried to help him. Within a blink of an eye they both slipped and the water instantly took them down the falls falling 30 feet down. Both of the kids were air lifted to a hospital an hour away.
Thankfully, although the road to recovery is a long path the kids are okay. Hunter has a concussion, a gash on his face that they glued shut and they have to see the eye trauma doctor. Caydence has a broken finger, elbow and nose, got stitches on her nose and hand, needs future physical therapy and reconstruction surgery.
This is where I'm asking for your help. I can only imagine the cost of JUST the helicopter ride to the hospital. Now they have future surgerys, many doctor appointments and physical therapy ahead of them. If you can spare any money to help with the medical bills we would greatly appreciate it. Also please continue with the prayers, they are appreciated more than you will ever understand.
Thank you all so much.
