Goosie and Carmen- Rebuild & Recover from House Fire

Donation protected
On April 15, 2024, tragedy struck the Thurmon family as a devastating house fire engulfed their home. As the emergency response team arrived, they found Goosie unresponsive in the burning house. Thanks to their quick actions, he was resuscitated and placed in an induced coma to clear the smoke from his lungs and is now recovering in the hospital.

His wife Carmen, bravely jumped out of a window to escape and suffered injuries in the process. Despite the loss of their home and possessions, the family is grateful that both Goosie and Carmen are still alive.

In times of crisis, it is heartwarming to see communities come together to support those in need. Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out wishing to help. A donation platform has been set up to help the Thurmon family rebuild their lives and cover medical expenses.

No amount of money can erase the memories lost in the fire, and we all pray that your gift comes with peace of giving from a generous heart.
