Gordon Twist & The TRUTH Rhodes Piano

My name is Steven V. Taylor and I’m one of many TRUTH alumni that have been changed by the dedication and talents of GORDON TWIST! Gordon’s commitment to excellence while the music director, pianist and producer for TRUTH helped so many of us reach for our highest potential and strive for excellence in our careers and life pursuits! Gordon’s Rhodes piano became a signature sound in the early years of TRUTH and became a sound and look that defined the the man and the group! Gordon kept the same piano for years following his time in TRUTH but after thousands of miles and moving from place to place the piano was finally retired and Gordon has kept it stored. At the 50th TRUTH reunion in Mobile AL in June this year we learned of the pianos condition and committed as a TRUTH family to see that piano in mint condition once again! After searching for a Rhodes restoring company we recently discovered a company only 20 miles from Gordon’s home in New Jersey. This is a gift from a God who cares about the details of our lives. The company has agreed to repair the piano and also move it up in their system to get it repaired as soon as possible. This is another miracle! Thank you to all who donate. I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to see and hear Gordon play that same piano we all were on the road with once again! Let’s make it happen together!
