Help Gosho's family afford life saving treatment
Donation protected
Gosho is 45 years old. He was the chief ecology consultant at an automotive parts company in Ruse, Bulgaria. He has a brain tumor that was successfully treated three times. He had three operations, multiple complications, and chemotherapy. And he is getting better against all odds at a hospital in Istanbul.
His motivation?
Two beautiful daughters, one of them only five years old, eagerly await him to come home. His loving wife Neli, a full-time German teacher by day and a fantastic cake baker by night, keeps it all together and prays that Gosho will get better soon and return to help her raise their family. She loves him very much. His mother has been by his side from day one. Friends, family, and colleagues have all donated to help with costs.
The Bulgarian government has refused to support his life-saving treatment in Istanbul. In the local hospital, he was advised to seek palliative care instead. Fortunately, he has received treatment in a hospital in Istanbul to which he responded very well. The treatment is a targeted therapy to his particular type of tumor and is thus costly — 30 000 dollars a month. Friends, family, and colleagues have helped them financially multiple times, allowing him to live. He is making significant progress at the hospital and hopes to return to his family soon. This fundraiser is organized to help pay his last medical bills and come home for Christmas.
Thank you for your help and generosity and for placing a smile on the face of Gosho’s family again.
