Gosser Family Adoption

Welcome to our journey. 

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we enter into the process of adopting a child into our family. After many years of being unable to get pregnant we were close to giving up on our dream of having children. After devoting many hours of conversation and prayer to the issue, we felt the Lord leading us to provide an opportunity for a child to have a life and future and the love of a stable family. With that direction from the Lord we looked into foster care and adoption, eventually settling on adoption.

So now we come to you, and ask for your assistance. 

First our desire is for your support in prayer as we make ourselves available for a mother to choose to place her child in our home. Please pray for us both that the Lord prepares our hearts for this child. Please pray that our relationship stay strong, and that we continue to grow in our personal relationships with Christ as we learn to be parents. 

Pray that our home is one that is filled with safety and love, and that we can provide an amazing nurturing environment. Pray for blessings for the mother who will make the difficult yet selfless decision to let someone else raise her child when she is unable. 

Also we ask for your prayers for the financial side of this adoption process. Adoption is a costly avenue.  It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community, family, support system and culture of love that we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We are not sure exactly when the adoption will take place, it could be as early as March 2019, or take up to a couple years to find a match.
