Gozzy Needs her Cricket Family

Update: Looks like Gozzy recover will be a slower one than originally thought, with a restriction on driving and ability to coach. So to continue this we have raised our funding goal to give her more time to recover
Michelle Goszko aka Gozzy suffered a stroke on the 12th of November. To us, her cricket family she is Coach, Mentor and friend. To Australia she is an retired Australian cricketer who played four Test matches, 34 One Day Internationals and one T20 International for Australia between 2001 and 2006. Scoring 669 runs across her ODI career. Goszko scored a memorable 204 on her Test debut against England, which remains the highest ever score by a women’s Test debutant.

A commentator for both Women's and Men's cricket for the ABC and Fox, adding colour and insight. Especially in the WBBL where she has coached many of the NSW players since their underage careers began, with funny stories about their younger lives. Today her two clubs Sydney and Gordon/North Sydney played with blue ribbons in her hair, why blue - if you ask Gozzy she would say "I bleed Blue" as she is NSW forever. Her U16 NSW team chant " One Dream - one Team - born ready"
Being self -employed we want to support her during her recover so that she does not need to worry about anything but getting well. So please if she has touched yours or your child's lives pitch in whatever you can.
