Got Accepted Into Berklee! Need Financial Help!

Hello everyone,

Recently I received some I was recently admitted to one of my top choice colleges for grad school, Berklee College of Music, for an MBA in Songwriting and Production at the Berklee NYC campus. This was beyond exciting for me because, for the past 10 years, I have fully committed myself in my field as both an artist and an educator, and I now have the opportunity to gain the resources, support and education that I've needed to further my career. Even more exciting is that I was awarded a $30,000 merit scholarship because of my work. It's been an incredible honor to be accepted to one of the schools I've been dreaming about since 11th grade and it means so much to me to be able to attend this fall.

Unfortunately, as many know, Berklee is an expensive school and even with a $30,000 scholarship, I am still not fully able to afford it. Currently, I have a $2,500 tuition deposit, which will wipe out my savings. Considering that I will also have no housing so will be renting off campus, it's vital for me to have money saved for the move, which will be in the next 4.5 months. It's safe to say, I could use some help.

If you could spare anything to help me secure my deposit, that will buy me a lot more time to continue to work with my admissions counselors and financial aid to continue to find other solutions to help me pay for the rest of my tuition. Anything you can spare will help me get a step closer to becoming the educator, artist and advocate that I wish to be.
