GPA 2nd Year Retreat

Hi everyone! My name is Zachariah Iversen and I am a second year participant of the Generation Peace Academy program. This program is a faith based leadership program for high school graduates and college aged students to build  their lives of faith and learn how to support and uplift various communities, both locally and around the world before going into the “real world”. 

At the end of our second year we were given an opportunity to host a second year retreat. A time for all of us to gather and celebrate each other and the hard work that was put in all year as well as spend our last few moments together. Of course, this retreat is not possible without a little financial help. 

To make this time possible we are asking our communities to make a contribution to help us end our year victoriously, surrounded by friends of faith and community. This is of course a time of some fun and relaxation after a difficult year, but it’s also a preparation period before we go back to our home communities and begin to support them.
