Support Irene’s Recovery from the Altadena fire

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Please help our fellow nurse Irene Garcia and her family who lost their home in the Altadena fire.

She was not able to grab any personal belongings, paperwork, or clothes.

(On 1/8/25 our world was turned upside down when a devastating fire tore through our home, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. In the blink of an eye, we lost everything we’ve worked so hard to build—our memories, belongings, and a place that was once filled with love, laughter, and comfort.

We are reaching out for help to rebuild our lives and regain a sense of stability. While we are thankful to be safe, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Rebuilding from this loss will require a significant amount of support, and we are humbly asking for your help.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

    •    Temporary housing and emergency living expenses

    •    Replacing essential items like clothing, toiletries, and personal belongings

   •    Meeting the emotional and logistical needs as we navigate this difficult journey
